IXYS DSEI Fast Recovery Epitaxial Diodes (FRED) offer up to 1200V voltage rating and 14A to 126A current range. This series is made up of ultra-fast diodes that are characterized by low reverse recovery currents, even at high -diF/dt, while simultaneously showing a soft decrease of the reverse recovery current and avoiding inductive overvoltages with very high dv/dt. IXYS DSEI Fast Recovery Epitaxial Diodes are mainly used as freewheeling diodes for high current IGBTs or as fast rectifiers in power supplies and welding equipment.
